There is a chill in the air this month. Unless you’re in Antarctica, though, it’s probably not too bad yet. Antarctica was formed as a scientific preserve in December of 1959. Winter Solstice, the official beginning of winter, starts on the 21st of this month. Besides the cold, December is also a time of magical holidays. Hanukkah begins on the 20th, and of course, Christmas is the 25th.
